Does Cosmelan Work? Is Cosmelan Clinically Proven? Cosmelan, from Mesoestetic Laboratories, is a topical skin lightening treatment sold online at a variety of retail outlets including Amazon.com. Prices on this product range from $160 (single bottle) and that is just for one part of the overall treatment. The cost of Cosmelan will be prohibitive to many consumers as this is one of the most expensive topical skin lightening products our review staff has ever seen

Essentially, the first part of the Cosmelan process is supposed to be applied under the direction of a skin care professional and is based on the individual’s skin tone, etc. After the first part of the treatment is removed, the consumer is given a take-home product which is available at Amazon amongst other locations.

Of course, it is possible to purchase the complete Cosmelan kit on sites such as Ebay. However, these kits cost $335 and up. While this product may in fact work, our review could not find any concrete clinical evidence to support the claims of this product.
